Merry New Moon in Libra! An energy of peaceful resolutions, waves of love energy, and higher ideals, pervades this New Moon weekend. Happy reunions, loving interactions between family and friends- as Venus, the ruling planet of Libra, steps into her Moon cycle conjunct the Sun.
Striving for peace, and the voice of balance between the people, Libra, is also known as the Sign of Justice, as in the Tarot, and we will be seeing much of this energy coming into play the next few weeks, leading up until the Full Blue Moon in Taurus, on October 31.

In all things, Libra weighs and balances on the “Scale of Life” ~
In Ancient Egypt, it was well known that when one made passage and traversed to the Afterlife, that before one was able to soul travel - one must have their heart weighed against the ‘Feather of Maat’. The Ancient Egyptian Goddess Maat, was the goddess of truth, beauty, balance, order, the stars & the seasons, harmony, and justice- much like the Astrological Sign of Libra.
The ‘Weighing of the Heart’ ceremony, was overseen by Anubis- God of Death and the Underworld. If ones’ heart weighed less than the ‘Feather of Maat’, then the soul would make safe passage onto Aaru - “The Field of Reeds”- their vision of Paradise. If ones’ heart was heavy when they passed on, heavier than the single feather of Maat, they would not make safe passage, and be gobbled up by Ammit- the devourer of the dead. The weight of your heart was determined by how many of the offenses you had made in your life, that were listed in the Papyrus of Ani- 42 negative confessions, which are equal to your modern day Commandments.
At this time, in this pivotal moment in history, we are seeing many things coming to the surface within the collective. Many people want change in our society, but so few understand that it begins with each of us and how we live everyday in this multi-dimensional world. We must take a look at ourselves and feel into how ‘heavy’ our hearts may be, and begin healing and giving love to those areas of hurts, that need to be lifted up, and enlightened.
This Libra New Moon is a beautiful time to drop into your heart-space, and really tune into what emotions are calling out to be heard.
With Mercury retrograde in Scorpio, this is an excellent dark moon cycle to find that sacred space within, and do some much needed clearing or shadow work. Mercury moves back into Libra on October 23, giving us time to deep dive into our inner drives, passions, and motivations as it finally makes its way back direct on November 3.
Frustrations with differences of opinions, and fighting for “what is right” with no regards to ones’ feelings, could be on the agenda as the approaching Presidential election has many fighting- brother vs brother, mother vs lover- the loving family unit being affected by the lower vibrational energies of shame, blame, ignorance, arguing, name-calling, and a feeling of authoritative control.
There are still groups of us, soul tribe, who believe in higher ideals, in love, peace, truth, & beauty, and we are holding down a higher vibration of Unity Consciousness. We understand everything is going according to plan for the Ascension of All of Humanity and our Planet. We must rise above the hatred as a whole- the ugliness of this addicted hive-mind consciousness, and the people that try to drag us down to their level- we all learn and grow as souls on different timelines, and as the Grand Shift approaches there will be a split- between 3D and 5D- and those that enjoy the lower vibrational realms will remain there.

During this New Moon in Libra, we will have an opportunity to dive deep into our heart chakra- feel into what “heaviness” needs to be addressed for our own well-being, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. There will be ample sensual energy as well, and any New Moon Rituals, Self-Love Ceremonies, and Sacred Time with Your Beloved, will be imbued with a romantic air. Pampering, spa day, chill time with soul tribe, and warm cuddles with your pets, will give you a love connection in your heart-space that will rejuvenate you.
Take time for yourself this New Moon, as the Universe is asking us to open up to the love that is already within our lives, and in Sharing Gratitude of Our Spiritual Bounty of Love, we will be Blessed with even more, to Share with the World.
